We had a great bank holiday stay at the property. It does have lots of steps as the details suggest but it was spotlessly clean and the location is why we booked it, 5 mins walk from the train station and town centre. There is lots of free parking just a few minutes walk from the property and a parking permit was also provided, even at the bank holRead moreiday we found parking easily available. Whilst basic, the property had everything you needed including a fan for the bedroom which was a very welcome thought. The security deposit was returned quickly. we would definitley book again if staying the weekend in Whitby. Hide

We enjoyed an excellent week at St. Hilda's View. Lived up to all our expectations. The proximity to the bus station and local supermarket was an added bonus.

This is a really good value-for-money cottage so close to the centre of town and it's very comfortable, clean and well equipped. For this price you don't expect swanky shower facilities and the shower room is very small. If you're used to the parking situation in Whitby there is no great problem over the lack of a designated parking space - we haRead morerdly used the car at all over the 6 days and left it on Upgang Lane where it's free unrestricted parking.
