We've stayed in this cottage several times as it's in the perfect location giving easy access to Whitby, Sandsend and Saltburn. The property is spacious and cosy and is next door to a fab pub that does great food. There is also a brilliant community shop across the road that sells fantastic cakes and pastries.

The property was lovely but the oven was filthy. Looked as though it hadnt been cleaned for years. Oven trays were well past there best The central heating was set for timed periods with no instructions how to override or increase the temperature and we found we were cold on occasions. No kindling for the wood burner that we could find.
