This spacious and stylish Whitby holiday apartment is the ideal destination for a family getaway or a small group of friends looking to explore the North Yorkshire coast. The property overlooks the tranquil waters of the River Esk, and is situated in a contemporary block just a half-mile walk away from the town centre. Accessed by both stairs and lift, the apartment is all located on one level, and provides ample space to relax.

The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room is great for coming together and socialising. It has a Juliet balcony with wonderful views over the river and comfortable seating arranged around the Smart TV – pop a DVD in and enjoy a night in with the family after a busy day of exploring. When you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen area has everything you could need to whip up something delicious and there’s a dining table to seat all four guests. There are two spacious bedrooms when night falls: one king-size and one twin, which both share the use of a family bathroom.

Only 0.5 miles from Whitby Abbey - known as the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula - and just 1 mile from the beach, you can spend a day in the sun or take a coastal walk and breathe in the fresh air with ease. For more seaside fun, you can take longer trips to Runswick Bay (9 miles), or further south to the charming coastal village of Robin Hood’s Bay (5 miles). What’s more, you can experience the glorious North Yorkshire coast from the sea on one of Whitby’s many boat trips and take in stunning sunsets or spot seals and dolphins.

Lovely apartment just a 10 minute walk to the centre. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The welcome pack was much appreciated and great having the secure parking. Located in a peaceful area with just the birds and train for company. Would definitely stay again.

I think it would be helpful to state clearly that the property is on the Abbey side of the river Esk as access to Whitby town , if you have mobility problems, is very difficult. We could not fault the property for it's amenities and quality, it was an oasis to return to.

The property was in a good location overlooking the water and a 10 minute walk into Whitby old town, the property was well equipped and had quality bed and bedding, the welcome pack was much appreciated. My suggestion would be to supply a hairdryer as most places do otherwise all good.

Location and quality of the apartment were perfect for us. The secure parking was one of the main reasons for our choice. Cleaning could have been better as we swept up guide a bit of dust and fluff soon after we got in. Crockery could do with sorting as too many glasses and mugs. These are only minor quibbles though and I would thoroughly recommenRead mored this apartment. Hide

The apartment was very nice & comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay including parking ?? The only small niggle I had was that there were big food crumbs under the dining table & kitchen floor. Wouldnt put me off staying but thought I would mention it.
