This cottage in situated in lovely countryside with views over Roseberry Topping. The cottage however is in a disused farm area with old sheds and outbuildings nearby. The cottage furniture is very dated and be aware there is no cooker, only a microwave and 2 hob rings. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was excellent. A good location for walking fRead morerom various villages nearby and getting onto the Cleveland Way. Hide

Very cute, quaint little cottage with beautiful views and a large field for the dog use (which he thoroughly enjoyed). Owner, Ken met us and made sure we were welcomed and comfortable during our stay. Lovely location to explore the Yorkshire Moors and surrounding area.

The cottage was lovely inside very cosy, the bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The views were lovely and Ken the owner was lovely to talk too. He showed us how to use the hot tub and it is cleaned out everything someone leaves.

Little Haven definitely lived up to its name! The views were breath-taking. Totally peaceful location. Ken met us on our first day to show us around and explain the hot tub etc. Then left us in peace for the duration of our stay. Sitting in the hot tub, glad of wine in hand, looking out over the peaks of north Yorkshire was a delight. Teenage kids Read morewere happy with fast WiFi, smart TV to access Netflix etc and comfy beds. There were plenty of walks of the doorstep, public footpaths lead in both directions from field. The field attached to the cottage was available for us to use with our dog. They're is a cute little stream at the bottom of the field. The only negative about the whole start is that the garden/field are not fully enclosed. However, with careful parking I could create a barrier to make a secure area for our dog. We would absolutely stay again, it was perfect for our family (single mum, 2 feral teens and a large, crazy pup). Head to the bottom of the field and turn right for a walk to The Dudley Arms. A lovely local pub. Head left and you can take a walk to the nearby farm shop and cafe followed my a trek up the Peak to see captain cooks monument. Hide

The cottage is basic, no dishwasher and no oven so meals need to be planned in advance. The check out time is 10am so we were a little disappointed when the owner knocked on the door at 9.05am to ask for the keys.

The cottage was very good and the owners are very friendly and available if you have any concerns. The only suggestion was to enclose the hotuv area from the drive so solo people can use the hot tub but let dogs safely roam the yard area.
