Cosy and cute little cottage with all that you need for a short stay, great location right by the castle and the Market Square. Very clean and well equipped loved the log burner for the chilly evenings in February and the nice little extra touches for the dog and us ( bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival ) - Loved it .

Rose Cottage is a wonderful cottage. It is right in the town so you can walk to market place, castle and river . The town itself is absolutely stunning - beautiful, historic but also has lots of nice shops, cafes etc. in walking distance from the cottage. inside is very cosy and relaxing and you have everything you need - and it was great to be aRead moreble to bring the dog as well. Beautiful area, friendly people, very dog friendly and amazing views. Will definitely recommend and will definitely return. Only downside is that the double bed in the cottage was small and their were only 2 small armchairs in the living area but was perfect for 2 adults and our puppy. The cottage was clean and well maintained and equipped. The ownRead moreer left a bottle of wine and a pint of milk in the fridge which were lovely touches and made us feel very welcome. Cannot wait to return to Richmond! Hide

The holiday cottage was very good. The parking situation however was another thing. What use is a 2 hour disc parking scheme when you are staying for a week? We paid 15 for a weekly ticket and the nearest car park where we could use it was 1/2 a mile away. Not exactly secure. Perhaps Mr Sunak could do something about it.

A very nice cottage, a good location the owner was very helpful. The access to the property could be a challenge for people who have walking problems. Not for anyone who is disabled, the stairs to the bedroom are very tricky?

The only reason we scored a 4 for equipment & comfort is there was not enough hot water for two showers & we found the chairs uncomfortable. I would recommend replacing one of the chairs with a two seat sofa. We were very satisfied overall and think our stay was definitely value for money.

We stayed at Rose Cottage Richmond and although the property itself was lovely the accessibility was very awkward having to reverse down a very steep hill to unload the car then having to relocate the car elsewhere. The check in time of 4.00 p.m. was far too late it was a very wet day and there was no where to shelter we had to sit in our car in a Read morecar park situated at the bottom of the town for 3 hours until we could check in i would not have liked to have to check in at 4.00 p.m. on a winters night. The check out time could have been a bit later as it would not take 6 hours to thoroughly clean this small cottage. Hide

Got given more information on parking when we got there. Be useful to have this before we arrived. Cobwebs around the property but you cant help where spiders go but there was quite a few. Appreciated the extra touches, biscuits, coffee machine, wine and milk. Thank you to the owner.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Rose Cottage. I was surprised at the lack of privacy glass in the bathroom and I could have used a cheese grater and a medium sized mixing bowl in the kitchen but neither issue spoiled our stay.
