Property code: OC-W1019

Treat yourself to a memorable getaway in this five-star retreat, the perfect haven for those looking to explore the glorious seaside town of Whitby. Enjoy the town centre, located less than 2 miles away, where shops and eateries line characterful cobbled streets, then make yourselves at home in the spacious living areas of this three-bedroom house. It’s a great place to spend quality time together as a family.

Warm up by the wood burner in the lounge after a blissful day on the beach. Sink into one of the cosy sofas and watch the Smart TV as the flames crackle. When you’re feeling hungry, prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy a coffee at the breakfast bar. Serve up your culinary creations in the dining room before retreating to one of the three bedrooms on the first and second floors. The first floor houses a double bedroom, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom, while the second floor (up a set of cottage-style stairs) is home to a triple room with three single beds beneath sloping ceilings.

When you feel like an adventure, you can climb the 199 steps up to the atmospheric Whitby Abbey (1.5 miles) to admire the spectacular views and learn about its connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Strolling the bustling harbour gives you the chance to learn about Captain Cook's past here before he set sail to discover Australia. Or, a mere 6 miles away, is the coastal village of Robins Hood’s Bay, famous for its fossil-laden beaches and tales of smugglers, shipwrecks and pirates.

We had a lovely stay at this well furnished and well equipped property. The on street parking can be a bit tight if you have a large car but the main public car park is only a short walk away.

A beautiful house, loved the decor and furnishings. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything we could possibly want or need. Really didn't want to leave.Would definitely stay here again & would recommend.

We had a great stay - the accomodation was perfect for the four of us lots to see in the area but we won't be getting on the scales when we get home!
