Walk through the lobby and continue down a flight of stairs to reach the front door of this apartment. Make yourself at home in the airy lounge with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows. Put your feet up on one of the plump leather sofas and gather around the wooden dining table for a feast. The Galley kitchen has warm earthy tones, wooden cabinets and sparkling surfaces. Completing the interior of the property is a family bathroom plus three bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite, a twin room and another king-size. Outside is a garden with furniture.

During your stay in Whitby on the east of the River Esk you’ll be in a quiet area within easy reach of an array of restaurants, cafes and shops (0.5 miles). Close by you can also find the Waterfall Cottage nature reserve and the Larpool Viaduct (both within 2 miles). Climb the 199 Steps to reach the imposing 657AD Whitby Abbey (within 1 mile). Across the river is the sandy Whitby Beach (1 mile) where you can wander along the shore to reach Sandsend Beach (2.5 miles). Prepare yourself for a scare at the Dracula Experience and learn the fascinating history of Captain Cook at the Memorial Museum (both within 1 mile).

The no3 old sail loft was comfortable clean and had everything you needed. The welcome pack was impressive and enjoyed by all who stayed. It was a return visit and will definitely be returning soon.

Perfect location. A flat 10-15 minute stroll takes you into the town. Close proximity of allocated parking space was good. A well equipped apartment with wonderful views. The welcome pack/touches were very much appreciated.

We have been holidaying in number 3 for the past 4 years, our little haven by the sea. We usually stay for 2 weeks and have already booked for 2026. Beautifully presented apartment, clean and comfortable with wonderful views. There is plenty for us do as well as having some R&R time. We wouldnt want to stay anywhere else!

Nice apartment spacious, well equipped. Our problems for our week was that we had a plague of flies totalling about 100 the cause unknown but was reported daily. This detracted a lot from the break we were looking forward to as it was to celebrate a special birthday. There was a frustrating problem with the operation of the tv. Which was an unknownRead more System to use. The windows in the property were difficult to open or stay open if tried. We also had to sort out a sink waste problem which was also reported to Holiday Cottages. And lastly 2 sets of keys would have been ideal. All in all 5 out of 10. Lovely clean and well equipped property in a great location, a comfortable place for a few days away. Parking is a big plus, ten minutes walk gets you to the cobblestone streets and swing bridge giving easy access to everything Whitby has to offer.

The flat was very clean plenty of room lovely views out to Witby would of been nice to have left at a more convenient time 9 am in the morning is to early and 4 pm to get into the flat to late most of the day was gone when we arrived

Many plusses for this apartment however hassle from the adjoining property owner a little off-putting. Patio furniture not in keeping with quality of internal furnishings.
