Enjoy a relaxing break at this luxurious family-friendly lodge at Bridlington Links, an exclusive holiday development just outside the town. It’s all on one level with wraparound decking and is perfect for enjoying a beach and outdoorsy holiday while being close to lots of local amenities and fun attractions.

The contemporary lodge is beautifully presented and has been fitted with high-end furniture and furnishings. The entrance is up four steps then go into the hallway, with a utility room off it, and through to the stunning, spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining room where you can all hang out together while the cook in the family takes care of dinner then eat together in the dining area, for quick bites, there’s a breakfast bar and stools. Lounge on the plush sofas with your latest watch on the Smart TV and throw open the French doors on balmy evenings. There are two bedrooms, a spacious king-size and en-suite shower room, and a good-sized twin, both in relaxing neutral colours with storage for your holiday garb, and a bright family bathroom. Open the French doors and relax on the large decking (on two sides of the lodge), enjoy drinks and meals al fresco in the summer sun in the south-facing seating area.

Head to the beach (1 mile) to wander, paddle and build sandcastles, and have a go at kayaking, surfing and paddleboarding if you feel adventurous. Use your two free passes at the on-site gym and golf course then grab a drink and delicious meal at the clubhouse. Wander through Sewerby Hall gardens (0.5 miles) and hop on the train to the centre of Bridlington to explore the town (1 mile). Visit the Augustinian Priory, Bayle Museum and Harbour Heritage Museum, and book a sea safari to explore the bay.
