We had 4 days at Cliff Cottage - fabulous !!! The accommodation was immaculately clean, with everything we required. The view from the wee balcony off the living area was the best. A great location for exploring Whitby, we will definitely be back.

Spotlesslessly clean and well appointed property. Although the description is accurate, it needs to be borne in mind that it is not possible to park near the property, even to load/unload and bags/cases need to be carried down about 8 steps to the front door and then down stairs inside to the bedrooms. It is perhaps a property for quite fit peopleRead more, bearing in mind that there are no bathroom facilities on the lounge level. Its quite a trek down two flights if youre the one in the lowest bedroom! The property has amazing views over the mouth of the river and the Abbey. A useful parking pass is provided. Hide

We have just returned from this fabulous accommodation which exceeded our expectations. The views are incredible from the two outdoor areas, these can still be enjoyed in colder weather from the large windows. Everything you could need for self catering and comfort is provided and is of a quality standard. The location is within a short walking disRead moretance to the Whitby facilities and free parking is available a few metres from the cottage. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a very central location, with lovely views over to the Abbey. Very well equipped, and decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, couldn't fault anything. A very generous welcome hamper was also provided full of locally produced items. The only negative is the parking situation, as you would expect being soRead more central, the street is very narrow for unloading luggage, and you need to be very careful when checking the parking zones. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at cliff cottage. There was 4 of us, two couples. It was so lovely, nice and clean with very comfortable beds, beautiful views and only a short walk into the centre of Whitby. We will Definately be coming back to stay again but for longer as 3 nights was not long enough to be in Beautiful Whitby.
