Not only will you find more lovely pubs and shops here, but you can enjoy fantastic canal walks and visit Skipton Castle. Head into the Yorkshire Dales National Park and take a stroll up Beamsley Beacon (12 miles) or enjoy a trip on the Bolton Abbey Steam Railway (10 miles).
