This charming holiday cottage is nestled in the heart of Whitby, a picturesque coastal town in Yorkshire. Whitby is one of the region's most beloved tourist destinations with its delightful mix of stunning architecture and bustling atmosphere, and its shops, eateries and beach are all within half a mile of the front door of this four-bedroom retreat. Sleeping six lucky guests, the interiors are spacious, and the pretty garden with a summerhouse is perfect for whiling away some time in the sunshine.

Climb the steps and enter the bright hall before making yourselves at home in the lounge where comfy seating surrounds a Smart TV and a flame-effect gas fire. When you’re feeling peckish, head to the kitchen/dining room where you’ll find everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals; on warm days, you can slide open the patio doors to bring the outside in. Four bedrooms can be found up the stairs on the first floor, including two king-size and two twins, along with a family bathroom where you can soak your feet after a day on the beach. On sunny days, nothing beats spending some time in the enclosed garden, boasting two decked areas, plenty of seating for al fresco dining, and a summerhouse.

Whitby, with its charming cobblestone streets, is renowned for its delicious seafood restaurants, a historic abbey with a legendary tie to Bram Stoker's Dracula, and beautiful beaches. Spend your days building sandcastles and splashing in the waves at the family-friendly Whitby Beach, lined with a rainbow of colourful beach huts. Or venture 2.5 miles into the North York Moors National Park where you can enjoy the great outdoors on one of the scenic walking or cycling trails.

Lovely property. Very well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Close to the Abbey and about a 10 minute walk into Whitby centre. Downhill into town but save your energy for the uphill walk back to the cottage. A very enjoyable weekend with friends and family.

Lovely house! There was everything you could possibly wish for and so clean! Kitchen is really well stocked with equipment and bedrooms are comfy. Wonderful garden house to get away from folk if needed. About 5 minutes walk from Whitby Abbey and stunning views.
