For a design-focused cottage that’s rich in architectural history, visit this marvellous 19th-century chapel that’s been thoroughly updated to create a modern holiday home. Complete with handsome brickwork, arched windows and a proud position just off Bainbridge’s village green, this accommodation offers an exceptional place to stay for any Yorkshire-bound group of friends or family. Spread out over three storeys, discover four exceptionally well-presented bedrooms hosting a maximum of five guests, ideal for those who prefer their own space when holidaying. The property has been equipped with all the required mod-cons, including special features such as integrated speakers in the bathrooms.

Step inside to be greeted by a handy downstairs bathroom and a utility room with laundry facilities, a welcome sight after a long walk in the Yorkshire elements. There’s also the first of the four bedrooms down here. Up on the first floor, is the lovely lounge/diner with smart TV. Accompanied by an Amazon Echo, cushy seating and a wood burner, this room is always ready to host an utterly relaxing evening in. No night in is complete without a delicious dinner and chefs will adore preparing signature dishes in the hand-crafted kitchen next door. Finally, venture up onto the second floor to reach three further bedrooms and the final bathroom.

Set deep in the Wensleydale Valley, just 5 miles outside of Hawes, Bainbridge is a fantastic village from which to explore the epic Yorkshire Dales National Park. Lovely peaceful location, cottage well equipped however downstairs bedroom very odorous (foisty smell) Would have loved to use this room with patio doors and great view. Nice thoughtful welcome pack, wine was lovely. Didn't have chance to use wood burner due to heatwave.
