Embrace a slower pace of life when staying in the Wensleydale town of Hawes with your nearest and dearest. This marvellous little cottage is situated right at the centre of the town, just moments from the local attractions that bring so many tourists to the area and pubs and cafes that are always busy with regulars. The property itself is a handsome stone cottage with a traditional exterior and a contemporary interior, thoroughly updated to host any group of holidaymakers. In total, six guests and one dog are invited to make this home-from-home space entirely their own.
It's clear to see that care and attention have gone into the renovation of this lovely stone cottage, so step in and make yourselves at home. The ground floor consists of an open-plan living space with a snug lounge and a kitchen/diner tucked into one corner. Spacious throughout, the room is well-equipped with comfortable seating around the dining table and facing the wood burner and Smart TV. For those who prefer a little more peace and quiet, each of the three double bedrooms upstairs is equipped with its own additional TV. Finally, on the first floor, discover a luxurious bathroom with a stand-alone bathtub and a walk-in shower, ideal for soaking away after a long walk.
When staying in the Wensleydale Valley, it’d be rude not to get to know the area’s namesake cheese with a trip to Hawes’ local creamery (0.5 miles). Sample a delicious titbit before wandering over to the Dales Countryside Museum to learn more about the local area (less than 500 metres). From the town, you can embark on many walks in the surrounding area, including a route via the River Ure (0.5 miles) and up to Hardaw (1.5 miles) to admire the mighty waterfall.
