Escape the daily grind at this charming barn-conversion on the edge of the peaceful village of Seamer - just 4 miles outside Scarborough. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this traditional home is perfect for small families or groups of friends who are craving a taste of country living. During the day, head to the breathtaking North York Moors National Park to enjoy a picnic; and in the evening, take a seat in the cottage’s pretty outdoor seating area, pour yourself a drink and watch the stars come out.
Step inside and you can’t help but admire the exposed wooden beams in the charming rustic-style lounge. Take a moment to relax on the sofa by the electric stove-effect fire, and then head to the country-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones. Get everyone together to eat in the cosy dining area or head outside to dine alfresco while you soak up the country views. After dinner, grab a drink and enjoy the cool evening air, or head back to the lounge to curl up in front of the TV. At the end of the day, there are lovely two bedrooms to choose from: one has a double bed and great country views, and the other has two single beds that can be transformed into a king-size bed. Please note there is a static caravan behind the cottage.
