Really nice cottage in a fantastic location. Great for parking (which is always at a premium in a village location). Three good pubs nearby and some lovely places to visit and a variety of walks.

Really enjoyed our stay, the weather was excellent which showed everything at its best - great views about the back to the hills around. Plenty of space for family of 5 and allowed us to entertain others for dinner. The location is excellent in the centre of town - only 2 mins walk from pubs and restaurant. Worth taking some camping / folding chairRead mores to sit outside in the back garden area in the morning when sun is out. Hide

This is my second visit to Seata Barn and its brilliant. The rooms are all lovely and fresh and the whole place is well equipped. Its in a lovely location in a quiet village with lovely neighbours, a couple of pubs, a hotel and a cafe. There are plenty of walks to be had in the area and its a great central location to explore the Dales.

Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable, homely and peaceful. Great location to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Askrigg has a lovely cafe and pubs for meals out. Utility room was very handy to dry off walking gear. The kitchen is well equipped. Good size rooms throughout. Highly recommend!! We would stay here again.

This is a lovely, characterful and thoughtfully designed cottage. Comfortable and well equipped, with space for everyone, either to be all together round the table in the farmhouse kitchen, or split between the two cosy sitting rooms. Spotless and sparkling when we arrived in the autumn sunshine, I can imagine it is warm and welcoming in the coldRead moreer days, with two fires crackling away in the hearths. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it. Askrigg has, not one, but three, excellent pubs and we frequented them all! Great food and atmosphere in all three. Hide

We spent a wonderful week in this very comfortable cottage, well equipped with quality fittings. It made an excellent base for walking and exploring the Dales, and the village is perfect with the shop, deli/bakery, pubs, and craft shop.

Our second visit to Seata Barn and hopefully we will return. The facilities are very high standard and the location in the heart of Askrigg with the local shops and pubs close by meant it was a perfect setting for exploring the Dales. We may have left a pair of flip flops in the bathroom when we left so would be more than happy to cover the cost ofRead more postage if they could be returned. Hide
