Whisk your loved one away on a romantic break to the Yorkshire Dales on a stay at this cosy cottage. Boasting a pretty rear garden with a table and chairs, and surrounded by borders, you can while away your evenings relaxing in the tranquil area. Just 4 miles away is Thorp Perrow, a 100-acre arboretum and woodland garden filled with wonderful wildlife and plant life for an idyllic day out.

Step inside and you’ll find yourself in the warm and welcoming living room with a comfortable sofa positioned in front of a charming wood burner. A panoramic TV offers a cinematic experience for movie nights and the table and chairs for two at mealtimes. Next door is the well presented kitchen in cool tones with plenty of space to get creative with your cooking with a door out to the garden. On the first floor is the wonderful king-size bedroom, furnished with a Smart TV and benefiting from natural light through the large window. Finally, a chic bathroom completes the interiors with a blissful bathtub and rainfall shower head. Patio gardens can be found at the front and the rear, with the latter providing a peaceful, private spot for the warmer months of the year.

The village of Crakehall is a wonderful place to take a wander beside Bedale Beck and soak up the tranquillity of the area. Experience the enchanting woodland at Thorp Perrow (4 miles) filled with birds of prey and five National Plant Collections. Further afield, the vibrant market town of Richmond (10 miles) is a beautiful and historic location to visit with its imposing castle and cobbled market square. Here you can grab a bite to eat at one of the many eateries, explore the architecture and delve into the depths of the town’s past for a memorable day out.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage. Close to the A1 which is good for travelling to it. Also close to some nice shops, pubs & restaurants. Lots of walking locally and within a 20-30 minute drive

Great garden, very secure. Good local pub. Bedale good for supplies. Masham great to visit.

Munton cottage is in a fantastic location on the edge of a small village with a pub 2 minute walk away . The cottage is equipped superbly with everything of the highest quality , but best of all it is extremely dog friendly with properly enclosed gardens front and rear ..
