Take a break away to this charming converted barn and enjoy the tranquil location from the conservatory, patio and garden which all make the most of the marvellous countryside views. Arkle Beck is right on your doorstep with a picturesque waterside path running alongside down to the lovely village of Reeth (3 miles).
Retaining much of its original charm, the first floor living room has exposed beams, exposed bricks, and a open fire, with windows to make the most of the beautiful views. A two seater sofa and two tub chairs offer a spot to rest your feet in front of the smart TV, with an ornate floor lamp in the corner which is a perfect nook to read a book. The ground floor kitchen blends the old with the new and leads through to the dining area where you can gather for breakfast, lunch and dinner, separated by an original stone wall. Come rain or shine, the conservatory with its small dining table is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by, with far-reaching views over the garden and into the country. Completing the ground floor is a downstairs double bedroom with ample storage for guests to fully unpack. The second bedroom can be found upstairs, with a beautiful king-size bed which can be made up as twin beds upon request and this sits beside the shower room. Outside, the garden is a versatile space with a small slabbed patio with a table and chairs and a further pea chip gravelled area with bench table and seating.
Reeth (3 miles away) is a great place to go to find a bite to eat, with an ice cream parlour, cafes, tearooms and pubs to satisfy your appetite. Alternatively, head to Tan Hill to visit England’s highest pub and soak in the serene views from its elevated position (8 miles). This area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is well-known for its waterfalls and the walking trails that you can take to find them, so why not make a trip to Aysgarth Falls (13 miles) to witness the spectacle?
