Head off on a hunt for the local waterfalls of Aisgill Falls and Gayle Falls which lie a mile apart on a beautiful walking trail spanning just over 8 miles, with Cotter Force 3 miles into the route. Alternatively, head to Hawes (1 mile) and you can take the circular walking trail to Stags Fell itself, visiting Hardraw Force, England’s highest waterfall on the way for an active adventure.
