Cute, traditional cottage in a beautiful hamlet. Its an ideal location to explore the Dales. The cottage is very comfortable, great for 2 but would also work for a small family. The kitchen is small but very well stocked, good sized sitting room and 2 comfortable bedrooms. We loved our stay and Pauline the owner is very friendly and responsive.Read more Hide

The kitchen, though small , had masses of equipment, good knives , good crockery, new pans and good frying pans. The house was warm and the shower worked well. The bedrooms were light and pleasant but crammed as it was difficult to open the drawers as they were so near the beds.

An amazing cottage. We were weary that we would be in a village and next to other cottages however this was never a concern as it was so quiet and in no way overlooked. Thwaite was lovely to walk around with the dog first thing in the morning and before bed and will definitely be returning to the village and hopefully cottage when Kearton's is openRead more. Hide
