Cottage in a lovely location within Thwaite beside a babbling stream, our visit in summer is peak House Martin season with the many active nests within the village ensuring an airshow to be remembered. If you love seeing escapee sheep outside your cottage window, this is the one for you.

Very warm and well equipped. Brilliant location for exploring the northern Dales. Not absolutely perfect for us because we love a bit of private outdoor space, particularly with our dogs.

East Cottage was a wonderful place to use as a base for two weeks. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and just how well equipped the property was. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of sundry items that were supplied, the owner had literally thought of everything - thoroughly recommend.
