Perfect for a family of four, this light and bright beachside apartment offers an idyllic base for those looking to spend more time on the Yorkshire coast. In an excellent position above the West Cliff of historic Whitby, enjoy the cottage's proximity to many local amenities and its many glossy beaches.

Inside, this first-floor apartment is tastefully furnished in neutral tones, seaside decor and feels very homely. Crack open a bottle of something crisp from the fridge and savour it in the bright and airy lounge/diner upon the specially placed chairs. While away the hours while gazing out across luscious views stretching from Whitby Abbey to Sandsend. When tummies start to rumble, whip up something delicious in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Boasting everything needed for a comfortable stay, this kitchen is a joy to use. When you're not losing yourselves in the spectacular views, catch up on some sleep in one of two king-size bedrooms (one of which is a zip-and-link), where you will also find TVs for those lazy morning lie-ins. Freshen up in either the en-suite shower room or the bathroom.

You could easily leave your car keys well alone on this idyllic beach getaway. Enjoy days out on the golden sands of Whitby, Sandsend and Upgang Beach, all within 3 miles of the property, before browsing in the independent boutiques and shops on the seafront. For those keen to stretch their legs, hop aboard the Cleveland Trail, where impressive clifftops, dramatic scenery and magical woodland offer a fantastic setting for a challenging trek. Recharge with locally caught fish and chips on the seafront and sumptuous ice creams from one of the many parlours.

Our first holiday in Whitby, celebrating my 60th Birthday. Property is well situated on West Cliff with sea views. Short walk into Town, we found about three routes down to the Town. Property is on a cliff, so a bit of a climb in places. Property is well equipped, but I doubt many will cook as the Town has so many great places to eat. Notably Read moreaward winning fish restaurants. Parking is first come first parked, but If sensibly parked accommodates seven vehicles. Permits for free on street parking are provided if it is a problem. Great place to stay, mostly quiet, sat by the windows with a glass of wine looking out to sea and those walking the promenade. Lovely modern, light and airy apartment with great views. The beds were comfy. Can't say the same for the sofas, hard leather with very low backs. They were like sitting on a bench.

Overall this is the 2nd time we visited this cottage and it exceeded expectations..love this place...would have been nice if you did say weds to monday as then we could have both weekend nights there which we love...the late chevk in anf out are a bit of a bind...come on guys covids over...no excuses for such a late arrival and early departure

Great location - you can walk from the beach back to the apartment in your swim stuff and the in the evening there is an amazing Chinese restaurant just 50 yards away. The accommodation is very spacious is and airy and has lots of storage space. The only stress is that there are not enough parking gaps for everyone in the apartments and so it's aRead more case of keep looking out the window to move from a scratch card space onto the car park. Beautiful property. Perfect location. Perfect views. Overall very satisfied. Seating in lounge not particularly comfortable. Could done with a couple of side lamps in the lounge. Main lights a bit bright for relaxing in the evening. Bath panel in Main bathroom in need of replacement. Lovely and cosy apartment

Excellent first floor apartment with lift access. Great views out to sea & of Whitby. One morning we were lucky enough to see dolphins from the bedroom window & we also witnessed a yacht being towed by the RNLI. The beds are comfy & there are now 2 leather sofas in the living room so, so much better than the chairs shown in the apartment spec. GreaRead moret tvs to watch after a busy day out. We've been to Whitby many times but by far the views from sea breeze are the best. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Hide
