This spacious three-storey terraced house sits within the gorgeous seaside resort of Whitby and is a short stroll away from shops, cafes, pubs and attractions. Go on an adventure to one of Yorkshire's coastal gems before kicking back at home with six of your friends and family.
Pass through the entrance hall and into the intriguing living room, where we're sure you'll make special memories on each day of your stay. This is a fantastic area to relax in, with many fascinating features to admire, including wood-panelled bay windows, an internal arched window, an ornamental fireplace and a quirky, boat-shaped bookcase. These unique features continue throughout the cottage as you make your way into the dining area, with a bespoke light made from reclaimed driftwood, servants' bells from times gone by and an antique bench seat. Use this space for banquets aplenty, made using the accessories provided in the handsome galley-style kitchen. Pour yourself a glass of white from the useful wine cooler and settle down in the first-floor gaming room, where you'll also find a TV for watching your favourite soaps. When the weather is nice, the enclosed patio area is an excellent place for dining alfresco, while your pup (if they came with you for the ride) will enjoy sniffing out new spots to have a snooze. As the night draws in and it's time for bed, make your way to one of three delightful bedrooms: one twin and two king-size rooms. When it comes to freshening up, choose from either the first-floor bathroom with a bath and a shower or the second-floor shower room.
Begin your days with a stroll into the town (within half a mile) and grab a coffee at one of the many cafes available on the harbour front. Bask in the sunshine whilst people-watching before visiting the town's atmospheric ruined monument, Whitby Abbey. Climb the 199 steps to the top and admire the panoramic views. Browse the independent shops of Whitby, grabbing a souvenir as you go, or spend hours relaxing on the glistening sands of the town's renowned beach. Venturing further afield, a heritage train takes you 24 miles to the stunning Yorkshire moorland before returning to town for a hearty portion of Whitby's finest fish and chips.
