Escape with your loved ones to this pretty single-level lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside just 1.5 miles from Robin Hood’s Bay. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends yearning for a little peace and tranquillity in the Yorkshire countryside. During the day, head to Robin Hood’s Bay to wander through narrow cobblestone streets and soak in the spectacular sea views; and in the evening come home to dine alfresco on the lodge’s wonderful raised deck.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a stylish, modern kitchen that has everything you need to inspire your inner-chef. Make your way to the spacious open-plan lounge/diner to slip onto a sofa and make yourself at home before heading back to the kitchen to rustle up some dinner. Gather everyone around the chic dining table to eat – the views over the garden through the huge French doors are a real treat. Alternatively, step out onto the raised patio and dine alfresco. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the stars come out, or head back to the living area to catch up with your loved ones in front of the glowing wood burner. At the end of the day, there are two gorgeous bedrooms to choose from – one stylish double and one spacious twin. Completing the property, a spacious wet room features an invigorating walk-in shower.

Indulge in the local seafood or treat yourself to some traditional Yorkshire pudding in the charming pubs and restaurants of Robin Hood’s Bay (1.5 miles). While you’re there, check out the quaint Old Coastguard Station or learn all about the local shipwrecks at the Robin Hood’s Bay Museum. Alternatively, enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills and ancient woodlands of the stunning North York Moors National Park (6 miles).

Friendly owners who solved a plumbing problem very efficiently. Absolutely quiet environment. Walks directly from the cottage. Very nice terrace. The temperature of the heating system was not easy to change (it required a lot of time to either warm up or cool down).
