This stylish apartment in Whitby sleeps four guests and makes a fantastic couples’ retreat or base for a small family. The property is right in the heart of the town, giving you easy access to the shops, eateries, and harbour. The main beach is just 1 mile away and nearby attractions include Whitby Museum and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (both within 0.5 miles).

The ground-floor apartment is reached via a flight of steps, which leads to a shared lobby. Once inside the holiday home, you’ll find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, decorated in neutral tones and with plenty of natural light from the bay window. Cook up a storm in the neat kitchen area to the rear, and come together around the delightful dining table for evenings of great food and laughter. At the end of the day, pick a book from the bookshelf and sink into the plump sofa, or watch a film on the TV/DVD. The property has two delightful bedrooms – a double and a twin – as well as a family bathroom. Doors lead from the double bedroom to the private courtyard, where you can sit at the bistro set and plan your holiday itinerary.

Whitby is a traditional coastal town, with a bustling harbour, sandy beaches, and a fabulous array of independent shops and eateries. Head across the estuary to the old town, where you’ll find narrow, cobbled streets to explore, packed with cute boutiques and galleries – the perfect place to pick up a little souvenir from your holiday. From here, climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey to admire the atmospheric ruins and take in the spectacular views. Whitby’s main beach is just 1 mile away, and has a 2-mile stretch of golden sand, as well as colourful beach huts which can be hired during summer months.

Very comfortable flat exceptionally well equipped for self catering with secure parking. Positioned a 5 minute walk from the harbour. We were contacted by the owner a few days before our visit and given easy to follow directions and all access information. We really enjoyed our 7 night stay and I would highly recommend this property and we will defRead moreinitely go back again. Hide

Very well equipped flat, with all the little extras like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, liquid hand soap, tea bags, coffee, etc.

Great location close to town but quiet. We'll equipped & proportioned. Fab to have the parking as this meant chilled out driving free days. Booking & communications super easy. Would recommend to family & friends.
