Featuring cute window seats, a Juliet balcony and an elegant free-standing bath, this characterful hideaway is a lovely getaway for walkers and nature lovers exploring the region’s quaint villages, historic sites and magnificent countryside.

This cheerful cottage features a sweet and cosy lounge with underfloor heating, providing a lovely space to snuggle up together in the evenings. The stylishly arranged kitchen/diner is fully equipped, with sleek worktops and storage space, and a charming dining table perfect for sharing romantic meals together. Stairs lead from the lounge and directly into the light and stylish first-floor bedroom which features a vaulted ceiling, a lovely super-king-size bed and a Juliet balcony with enchanting views over the cottage garden and towards the farm. The en-suite bathroom has a stunning free-standing roll-top bath and an invigorating separate shower. From the lounge, large glass doors lead out into the garden, with a charming furnished patio providing a fantastic spot for sitting out and dining alfresco on a beautiful sunny day. A few steps lead up onto a peaceful lawn.

The historic city of Ripon (5 miles) is home to a range of popular attractions including a famous racecourse, an impressive cathedral, the Ripon Workhouse Museum and an idyllic wetlands centre. Other local attractions and landmarks include Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park, Norton Conyers House and Gardens, Ripley Castle, and Fountains Abbey, all within 11 miles.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage in a lovely setting with a delightful garden. Friendly, generous hosts. The location was a perfect base for exploring far and wide.

Absolutely wonderful!! One of the best cottages, if not the best, we have ever stayed in. The extra thoughtful details made it even more special.The Coach House provides luxury accommodation in a quiet relaxing location but close to a variety of great places to visit.

A very good holiday property, clean, well appionted accommodation. Rather out in the sticks but that did not bother us. A thoughtful welcome package of groceries were waiting for us on arrival. Owners are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

Beautifully designed and furnished accommodation. The owners, Ashley and Malcolm were very welcoming and eager to ensure that all was well. We certainly had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hope we are able to return in the future.

The Coach House exceeded all expectations. After a warm welcome and a generous hamper from the hosts, we were met by a beautiful and spacious house. The landscaped gardens and private sitting area added to the quality of the experience. The location was just perfect for exploring the Dales and North York Moors with many attractions close by. Fabulous property, such attention to detail. We were so relaxed. Gorgeous hamper on arrival. Such a pretty cottage garden. Lovely owners . Excellent base for visiting lots of different places. Grantham Arms tasty Sunday lunch . Would recommend park & ride for York. We absolutely loved our week in this property. Definitely recommend.

From our arrival welcome, through to our departure after spending five nights in the Coach House, it was simply perfect. Beautiful accommodation, the interior being of very high quality, with additional touches of the much appreciated basics of bread, milk, etc, alongside some extra goodies, all helped towards a very enjoyable stay, in a wonderful Read morelocation with the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep.
