Lose yourselves in beautiful, rural Yorkshire views when you stay at this enticing cottage in Leyburn. Sleeping six guests, and welcoming canine companions, the three-bedroom, stone retreat enjoys an enviable position, overlooking open fields, within the picturesque market town. With a wood burner for winter ambience and a lovely garden for summer sun, the gorgeous holiday home is perfect for anyone wishing to get out and about in the scenic Yorkshire Dales.

Head inside via the hall to slide off your wellies or unlace your walking boots. Make your way on into the beamed lounge to stoke up the wood burner, play a game or switch on the Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is another great place to congregate when you are not out and about. Pull back the garden doors and the top of the stable door whenever the weather is fine. Then set about preparing a hearty feast for your family or friends to sit down to at the table. Gaze out across the Yorkshire countryside as you dine. A utility room and a WC are also downstairs, together with a double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom. Another double bedroom, this time with an en-suite shower room, is also upstairs, together with a twin bedroom and the family bathroom. Soak up the scenery from outside on sunny days. Light the BBQ to grill supper in the fresh air on fine evenings or have a glass of something cold in the summerhouse.

Venture 4 miles from the cottage into the Yorkshire Dales to see the beautiful sight of Aysgarth Falls, the backdrop to many scenes from films and TV programmes. Visit the Forbidden Corner, 7 miles away, with its delightful gardens, featuring caves, tunnels and follies. Jervaulx Abbey, 10 miles away, is a lovely place to walk and have a picnic.

Fabulous cottage - well-appointed in every respect. For once, a kitchen with plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. Excellent bathrooms, good beds, and comfortable furniture in the living room. Glorious countryside views - in the heart of Wensleydale. We will be back. Thank you.
