Indulge in a cosy stay at this delightful cottage in Settle, on the fringes of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom retreat also welcomes four-legged friends and is ideal for anyone seeking the shops and eateries of a market town as well as great walks. The cottage comes with a wood burner to toast beside and a courtyard garden for outdoor summer relaxation.
Make your way into the charming, terraced hideaway and make yourselves at home in its comfortable accommodation. Relax in the lounge together after your many excursions, lighting the wood burner, set into the brick fireplace, during the chillier months. Choose a book from the shelves or find your favourite programme on the Smart TV. When mealtimes beckon, amble through to the kitchen/diner to whip up something tasty using the Yorkshire produce you have sourced in town. Gather round the table in this attractive room to dine together as well. At the end of each fabulous day away, head up the stairs to the first floor of the cottage, where you will find a king-size bedroom and a single room. The single features an additional, pull-out single bed for a child if necessary. There is also a family bathroom up here. Make the most of summer days by dining out in the fresh air. Open a chilled bottle of wine on balmy evenings and enjoy sitting out under the night skies together.
Venture 6.5 miles into the Dales to visit the picture-postcard village of Malham. From here visit the impressive, limestone cliff face of Malham Cove, 0.5 miles from the village, and the famous glacial lake of Malham Tarn, 3 miles away. The ravine of Gordale Scar, 1 mile from the village, is also well worth seeing while you are in this corner of Yorkshire.
