A stylish stone barn conversion nestled in a blissful rural location in the delightful Yorkshire village of Airton. This charming countryside abode is ideal for outdoorsy families or groups of friends holidaying with a couple of dog companions. Revel at the dazzling white limestone cliffs as you perch with a picnic in the shelter of Malham Cove (3.5 miles) before returning home to graze through an al fresco afternoon spread on the patio.

This thoughtfully styled property features a bright farmhouse interior with high ceilings, rustic wood textures, stable doors, and earthy colours. Kick off muddy boots by the door then step into the airy kitchen/diner. Foodies of the group can whip up some celebratory snacks in the kitchen overlooking the leafy lawn. Pop some fizz then dish out a delectable evening spread while gathered around the charming dining table. Pad through into the lounge and kick back beneath the striking vaulted ceiling. Stretch out on the cushy seating and soak in the sweeping vistas of the Yorkshire Dales. In summer months, prop open the patio doors to let the breeze in. Venturing downstairs, slip into the soft sheets of the tranquil king room. A further two bedrooms are located upstairs, including a charming twin and an en-suite double. Early risers can drink in dewy country mornings lounging on the patio with a breathtaking backdrop. Ball throw for your canine friend on the stretch of grass or gear up for a grilled BBQ feast.

Keen photographers are sure to delight in a trek to the thundering moss-covered landscape of Scaleber Force Waterfall (5 miles). Get cultural with an evening of arts at 19th Century Victoria Hall (6.5 miles) or glide through the emerald countryside and atop picturesque viaducts on the Settle to Carlisle railway line (6.5 miles).

Great place to stay for walking in the Dales. The disabled bathroom was great for my wheelchair using husband. Amazing view from the barn. Couldnt really wish for any else. Would certainly go again! The farm shop tea room next door was great. There really was nothing more we could have wanted!

Fantastic week away. The cottage was warm and welcoming - very well equiped, the tea, biscuits and wine on arrival was a perfect way to start an unwind. The bed was very comfy. The views were breathtaking. Having the farm shop/tea room next door was so handy with many tempting cakes to choose from and an excellent range of locally produced food/treRead moreats to cook at the cottage too. Set in the dales there was lots to do - Skipton woods, Malham Cove, Fountains Abbey and Bolton Abbey. Dog friendly too Hide

Cove View is a spacious well equipped house. The beds are very comfortable and the living room is large and has good quality furnishings. The views are lovely and having the farm shop and cafe on site is great. The garden was secure for our dogs. There are good pubs a short drive away and it is possible to walk to them using the public footpaths.
