This delightful countryside retreat is located in an attractive converted barn, in the quaint village of Airton in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. You’ll be surrounded by truly wonderful scenery, with an array of hiking trails and cycle paths all waiting to be explored. The three-bedroom home is wonderful for family trips, and you can bring up to two dogs along with you, too.

Journey back in time at this gorgeous stone-built home, which has been renovated to an exceptional standard and decorated in cheerful yellows and reds. The lounge has lovely high ceilings and exposed beams. A large window that bathes the space in natural light and offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding dales. The kitchen-dining room has a charming farmhouse style, with a wooden table in the middle and dual-aspect windows letting plenty of light in. Outside, the garden includes a patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ so you can enjoy some fresh-air cooking.

You’ll have a fantastic farm shop within 10 metres of your front door and a lovely country pub 1 mile away in Kirkby Malham, the next village. Locally you’ll have natural beauty sites that Britons travel hundreds of miles to visit, such as Malham Cove (3.5 miles), a large curved limestone formation formed more than 12,000 years ago, and Gordale Scar (4 miles), a limestone ravine. Janet's Foss waterfall (3.5 miles) offers an easy there-and-back trail. If village hopping is your style, Grassington, Kettlewell and Skipton are all within 12 miles, each offering a unique glimpse into the Dales' life and landscapes.

A beautifully furnished cottage with stunning views. There is no downstairs bathroom or toilet, but otherwise this is a great place!

We had a truly wonderful time, the cottage is beautifully finished & well appointed. The BBQ is a very high quality & Id recommend to others to take coals & bbq because eating in the garden is a treat with the wonderful views of Malham cove. We were in striking distance of the Yorkshire 3 peaks & the walk to the pub in Malham was also beautiful. NoRead morene of us wanted to leave, thank you to the owners for a great family holiday. Lovely cottage equipped with everything we needed (and we used the kitchen a lot). Spacious, comfortable and no pictures could do justice to the view from the cottage.

Fantastic place, unbelievable views, comfortable, felt like home when you walked through the door. Great location, definitely will be visiting again in the future.
