Head across the road to the Old School Tea Room for afternoon tea or to the AA rosette-awarded, 18th century Clarendon Hotel with its sustainable and seasonal fine dining, as well as real ale from local breweries. There are wonderful walks straight from the door along the River Wharf to the ever-popular, vibrant hubs of Grassington, Burnsall and Appletreewick, all within 3 miles. For those outdoorsy travellers, there are fly fishing beats available on the river at the historic Bolton Abbey (8 miles) or Kilnsey Park and a horse-riding centre, also at Kilnsey (5 miles). Fancy a day at the spa? Long Ashes Spa is under 4 miles away and has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, or you can indulge in some luxurious treatments.

As you step into this quintessential Yorkshire cottage, you're greeted by an atmosphere brimming with charm and character. The entrance welcomes you into a cosy lounge, adorned with a crackling wood burner. Sink into the comfortable seating and unwind after a day of exploring. The space seamlessly leads to a small sunroom housing a freezer and access to the rear patio. Ascending the stairs, discover two bedrooms awaiting your retreat. The master bedroom boasts a lovely king-size bed, inviting you to enjoy a night of peaceful slumber. Adjacent is the charming bunk bedroom, perfect for children or additional guests. Completing the upper floor is the family bathroom, providing modern amenities while retaining the cottage's cosy appeal.
