Property code: 93344

Enjoying panoramic views out across Ripponden and the Ryburn Valley, this elevated country cottage is a truly peaceful place for four guests to escape to in the vibrant West Yorkshire countryside. Large picture windows, French doors and a grassy garden all offer never-ending views of rolling fields and grazing cattle – a constant reminder of your peaceful, bucolic surroundings. Step out each day and explore the area on foot or two wheels, venturing towards pretty towns including Todmorden (12 miles) and Hebden Bridge (7.5 miles). As the day draws to a close, the warm and welcoming embrace of this single-storey property invites couples and small families for slow, peaceful evenings.

As well as providing stunning views, the large windows also ensure this contemporary-styled cottage is flooded with natural light. This naturally blends in with the brightly coloured furnishings to create an utterly optimistic place to wake up in each morning. Enjoy a slow breakfast in the lounge/kitchen/diner, sitting up at the breakfast bar, around the dining table or out in the garden. The garden is a grassy spot with outdoor furniture and a hot tub on well-presented decking. Completing the accommodation find two bedrooms, a super-king-size and a king-size, both extremely versatile with zip-and-link beds, and served by a well-appointed family bathroom.

Serene countryside and historic local towns pepper this portion of West Yorkshire and are ripe for exploring. Visit the industrial town of Halifax (6.5 miles) to discover Yorkshire’s former woollen glory, exploring former mills and captivating architecture with a walk-through town. The splendid Piece Hall is a cultural hub offering events and gigs throughout the year, whilst the family attraction of Eureka is a must with kids. A little further away, the vibrant village of Haworth (14 miles) offers endless literary appeal as the historic home of the Bronte sisters.

The lambing shed is lovely, fantastic views and sitting in the hot tub at night looking over the valley with all the lights on, is a delight. The garden isn't secure and our puppy kept running off down the public footpath next property. But we had a lovely holiday here.
