In the energetic market town of Beverley, this cosy cottage invites couples and small families, with or without dogs, to get to know East Yorkshire. Close to one of the town’s primary attractions; the mid-terrace cottage is just moments from Beverley Minster with views of the ancient church visible from the property’s appealing, spacious garden. From home, wander the short distance out into the centre of town to mosey around the weekly market, dip into independent shops and frequent quality bars and restaurants. Also a short walk away, Beverley train station connects you to Hull (7.5 miles) and Scarborough (34 miles).

A low-key Scandi style adds to the laid-back aesthetic of this relaxing property. Let yourself into the dynamic lounge/kitchen/diner with two clearly defined spaces for meal prep and relaxation, complete with a large Smart TV above a fantastic wood burner in the lounge to keep things snug. When the sun shines, step out into the garden to sit in the sun, relax and fire up the BBQ. Back indoors, pass a downstairs bathroom on your way up to the first floor, where you’ll find two stylishly appointed bedrooms; one double and one zip-and-link twin room that can be converted to a king-size on request.

The City of Culture in 2017, Hull is a nearby hub that’s accessible on the train or by car. Located on the Humber, the city offers plenty to fill a day including the world-famous aquarium, The Deep (9 miles). If countryside appeals are more your thing, then explore the Yorkshire Wolds, a vast area of heath-clad moors and rolling hills that stretch from Market Weighton (10 miles) to Pocklington (17.5 miles) and Driffield (13 miles). You’ve also got the Howardian Hills National Landscape a bit further away (29 miles).

We spent a wonderful week at Claire's place. The house is lovely and clean and was perfect for our family of four plus one small dog. Claire was very easy to communicate with and leaves a lot of information for guests as well as a king welcome kit. The location near the Minster is quite unique. The town in very pleasant and dog friendly. Thank you Read moreClaire! Hide

This is a lovely house in the centre of Beverley but away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping area, with amazing views of the Minister. Parking was not a problem even with our Transit van as Claire, the owner, had supplied parking permits so you could park in the street or in the parking area at the back of the cottage. Beverley is also closRead moree to the Wolds and you can get to the east coast. The cottage is well maintained and spotless, with a courtyard garden you can sit in Hide

Minster was a delight to stay in. The location is superb, right by the fabulous Minster, and a stone's throw from a great pub and good food shops. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and decorated in a restful and tasteful manner. The owner is incredibly helpful. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Everything was fine. Cottage was clean and well-equipped and allowed us to take our three dogs, who loved it. Everything we needed. Only things to be aware of is that the toilet is downstairs, so take care on night time visits! And the car parking space is tight
