In the energetic market town of Beverley, this cosy cottage invites couples and small families, with or without dogs, to get to know East Yorkshire. Close to one of the town’s primary attractions; the mid-terrace cottage is just moments from Beverley Minster with views of the ancient church visible from the property’s appealing, spacious garden. From home, wander the short distance out into the centre of town to mosey around the weekly market, dip into independent shops and frequent quality bars and restaurants. Also a short walk away, Beverley train station connects you to Hull (7.5 miles) and Scarborough (34 miles).

A low-key Scandi style adds to the laid-back aesthetic of this relaxing property. Let yourself into the dynamic lounge/kitchen/diner with two clearly defined spaces for meal prep and relaxation, complete with a large Smart TV above a fantastic wood burner in the lounge to keep things snug. When the sun shines, step out into the garden to sit in the sun, relax and fire up the BBQ. Back indoors, pass a downstairs bathroom on your way up to the first floor, where you’ll find two stylishly appointed bedrooms; one double and one zip-and-link twin room that can be converted to a king-size on request.

The City of Culture in 2017, Hull is a nearby hub that’s accessible on the train or by car. Located on the Humber, the city offers plenty to fill a day including the world-famous aquarium, The Deep (9 miles). If countryside appeals are more your thing, then explore the Yorkshire Wolds, a vast area of heath-clad moors and rolling hills that stretch from Market Weighton (10 miles) to Pocklington (17.5 miles) and Driffield (13 miles). You’ve also got the Howardian Hills National Landscape a bit further away (29 miles).

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin with 2'6 single beds, (can be made into king-size zip-and-link on request)
  • 1 ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC
  • Electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher
  • Smart TV in lounge
  • Enclosed garden with seating and BBQ
  • Private parking for 1 car - not suitable for larger cars. Owner can provide a daily zone parking permit, for larger cars, which can be arranged prior to your stay.
  • Pubs and shops around the corner
  • Please note, there is a step down into the kitchen, a small step into the bedroom, a step from the landing into each bedroom. Although there is a handrail, the bottom of the steps is open from the kitchen
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas

Fabulous little cottage We enjoyed our stay during some home renovation. It had a perfect central location in Beverley for all the lovely amenities. We know Beverley well so thoroughly enjoyed not having to shop and park etc, cottage was within walking distance of the town centre. Hamish, our border terrier enjoyed extra long walks on the Westwood,Read more even in the pouring rain. Beverley is very dog friendly. Claire, owner, very warm and friendly.....We loved the fire , made the cottage very cosy Hide

Had a great stay. House lovely and very comfortable. Everything you need. Great location, right near the Minster and close to 2 great pubs. Welcome pack was a treat. Parking a great bonus. Claire was easily contactable and rescued us when I took the wrong key, so we were locked out. Many thanks.

Lovely cottage, in an ideal location. Parking might be tight for a larger car but is an asset to have in a busy town. Fire is lovely to have, as is the abundant supply of logs. Owner is great to deal with.
