This stunning, family-friendly cottage in Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales offers magnificent views over the valley, and contemporary decor throughout. Explore the nearby countryside on foot or by bike before returning home to unwind in this stylish home for four in front of the crackling wood burner.

Stepping inside, you will discover a beautifully light and spacious living area on the first floor that offers a contemporary space to relax, and is also cosy enough for special nights huddled around the wood burner. Charming, exposed beams, a glass balustrade, and spectacular views make this room a delight, while the Juliet balcony exposes you to a gentle breeze as you put your feet up. The kitchen area is compact with subtle tones and is well-equipped for you to rustle up family meals to serve at the breakfast bar or around the pride-of-place dining table. When you're ready for bed, rest and recuperate in one of the tastefully decorated bedrooms on the ground floor, including a lovely twin room. Wake up in the king-size bedroom – served by an en-suite wet room – and treat yourself to a brew on your private, walled terrace where you can gaze upon the captivating views of the valley and fells beyond.

Wardle View has amazing views and was ideal for us (Pam paints), especially the 'balcony' with vistas in three directions. Very comfortable and well-equipped throughout, owner responded quickly and well to any questions we had.

A very comfortable cottage, more spacious than it looks from the outside. The beds and pillows were particularly comfy. The location was excellent for walks from the door and the views over Swaledale from the patio were lovely (when it wasn't raining!!!).
