This stone-built cottage is set on a hillside above the bank to the north of the River Swale. It’s a delightful area with magnificent countryside views of the valley and surrounding fells. Close by, you have the local pub, with the nearest shop around 3 miles away. The village of Reeth (3.5 miles) is just a short drive away, with pubs and shops clustered around the triangular village green making it a popular Dales village. Askrigg (8 miles), better known to millions as Darrowby in TV's ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, is just a short drive away as well, and Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force (England's highest single drop waterfall) are all within 12.5 miles. Enjoy the market in Hawes every Tuesday or head to the market town of Richmond, both 13 miles. Exploring the Dales, local attractions include the ruins of Richard III’s Middleham Castle, the Old Gang Smelting Mill, Calver Hill, the Forbidden Corner and Aysgarth Falls, all within 15 miles.

This charming stone-built property exudes rustic elegance and blends beautifully with contemporary style. With its exposed beams, glass balustrade and breathtaking views of the valley from the cosy lounge area, you’ll want to settle back on the comfortable sofas and listen to the crackling of the wood burner. As you open the Juliet balcony doors, a gentle breeze wafts in, inviting you to revel in the fresh air while marvelling at the scenic landscape. The cottage boasts an open-plan kitchen with a delightful breakfast bar, perfect for leisurely meals and a dining table for more formal mealtimes. Kick back and relax, light the fire and nestle down for an evening watching a movie on the Smart TV. On the ground level, you'll find a tastefully decorated twin room and a convenient shower room. Descending the stairs, a cupboard hides a washing machine. On the same floor, the regal king-sized bedroom awaits you with its own en-suite wet room.
