Full Sutton is a quiet village, 2 miles east of the village of Stamford Bridge, which was a fording point over the River Derwent for a Roman settlement, and well known as the site of the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066, which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain. There are many nearby Wolds market towns, Malton (12 miles), Beverley (25 miles) and Driffield (20 miles) which hold regular street markets, and have a wide variety of shops and restaurants, all providing excellent locally based cuisine, and the cathedral city of York is 10 miles. The unspoilt coastal resort of Filey is 35 miles with open beaches and the nearby RSPB nature reserve at Bempton. The property is situated on the edge of the East Yorkshire Wolds, with superb walks from the doorstep, the Wolds Way is a particular attraction, which encompasses some breath-taking scenery along the route.

Enter into the cosy entrance hall with cloakroom and coat hanging before climbing the stairs to the stylish open-plan living space. With a contemporary fully fitted kitchen finished in moonlight blue with matching breakfast bar and appliances, this is a great place to whip up a romantic meal for two. A great place for making plans for the next day’s adventure over a bottle of wine. The lounge area has been designed with relaxation in mind, with a leather sofa ready for you to snuggle up on as you catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV with Netflix & Sky in front of the fire. There is also LED mood lighting installed for you to dim and set which colour you find the most restful, set against the flickering fire and candles. Along the first floor from the living space, you will find the well-presented bedroom with king-size bed and plenty of storage. The view from the window is pure countryside with its fields and trees. The spacious en-suite has a state-of-the-art walk-in shower and illuminated full size mirror to compliment the new yet traditional fittings throughout.

Outside in the private enclosed garden, there is a beautiful jacuzzi/hot tub which has features such as reclining bathing, massage powered jets, waterfall feature with inside and external LED mood lighting, which can be set to suit your requirements. It is housed within a private building giving complete privacy when in use. Alternatively, you can sit outside and enjoy the garden and wider countryside beyond. There are sun loungers, table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ provided.

The facilities, aesthetic and location are brilliant. The owners are friendly and live on-site, they let you know at rhe begining to contact them if you need anything but bu no means impact the privacy of your stay. I would stay again.

The accommodation was absolutely lovely, plenty of room and facilitated everything we needed. The hot tub was the main attraction and we had plenty of privacy to relax and enjoy the weekend, perfect for anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Lovely little property, really quiet and had everything we needed. Hot tub was lovely to relax in at the end of the day. Owners nice and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Well situated for visiting York and a bit further afield the North York Moors and coast.
