A little slice of heaven, this charming 16th Century converted barn is the perfect holiday home for exploring with your four-legged friend. Tucked away in the stunning Yorkshire Dales between Clapham and Settle with great access to many popular Yorkshire villages. Benefitting from stunning views over the surrounding fells and fabulous walks straight from the door, the Lake District is also within easy reach (22 miles). If you plan to do some more adventurous hiking, then Ingleton is just 6 miles and the property is ideally situated for the Yorkshire three peaks of Whernside, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough. Malham (12 miles) boasts a stunning cove which challenges climbers and also protects a pair of nesting peregrine falcons which can be viewed during Summer and also nearby is the stunning market Town of Kirkby Lonsdale (12 miles), offering an abundance of boutique shops, local pubs & cafes as well as fine dining restaurants.

Retaining many of the original features adding an abundance of character and style, this beautiful barn has been lovingly converted to provide a luxurious home-from-home. Step through the door into the relaxing lounge with a wood burner taking centre stage. Sit back on the comfortable sofas and watch a movie on the large Apple TV which boasts Netflix amongst a range of other streaming platforms. Next is the fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining area with exposed beams, stone walls, original flooring and an old range to offer modern living whilst still maintaining its original character and charm. When it is time to retire for the evening, head upstairs where you will find two spacious king-size bedrooms, one family bathroom with shower-over-bath, and one en-suite shower room with WC. There are delightful window seats throughout to enjoy the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.

Outside you will find a beautiful, enclosed garden with a large lawned area and plenty of seating, perfect for your pet to run around. Soak in the hot tub, or just sit back and relax whilst listening to the birds chirp in the trees and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple in the countryside air.

I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage. The location was excellent and the cottage itself was very well equipped and clean. What we really appreciated was the extra attention to detail found at the cottage which is often missing from many equivalent holiday homes. It had absolutely everything you'd ever need supplied...even small itemRead mores you'd never expect the owners to provide. It made the cottage feel more homely and it's clear that the owner takes pride in the state it's kept in. Hide

We have rented many beautiful cottages over the years, but this is my favourite to date. It ticked all my boxes: log burner, sociable kitchen, comfy king size beds, stylish decor, beautiful setting, good showers, plenty of high-quality kitchen utensils/pans/glasses etc. The list goes on! The cottage was beautiful, location idyllic and we had a perfect few days with friends. We appreciated the lovely rooms and how clean and thoughtfully presented the house was. It was exceptional!
