A beautifully comfortable cottage where the owners seem to have thought of everything you could need. It was decorated attractively for Christmas and with an extremely generous welcome pack as well as plenty of information about the cottage and surrounding areas I would happily recommend it to family and friends

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The location was ideal (20-25mins) into the centre of York. The cottage was clean and provided everything we needed for our weekend away! The log burner was a perfect addition in winter. We would definatly stay again!

The cottage was beautiful, very welcoming, and a joy to stay there. The beds were very comfortable and a real treat to relax into at the end of a full day. Would recommend as a good starting point to get to other areas.

Very clean and well provisioned cottage. Local pub is very good, but need to prebook a table. Great for sight seeing the local area, Whitby to York

The cottage was fine and the locals really friendly. We went to the Sunday market in the Village Hall with some good food and craft stalls . It's a good centre for visiting the local attractions. We really enjoyed Breezy Knees Gardens on their last week of opening this year.
