Cliffe is a quiet and quaint Yorkshire village surrounded by beautiful countryside walks and cycle routes. The village is home to a local pub, shop and sports ground. Just 13 miles from the historic city of York where you will find many shops, independent restaurants and cafes as well as historic sites such as the city walls, minster. Explore the Yorkshire coast's beautiful stretches of golden sand beach and rugged shoreline or dine in many of the local seafood restaurants.
 
Step into the bungalows grand dining area which is open plan with a living space and vaulted ceilings giving a feeling of grandeur. This is the perfect place for family and friends to gather after a long day of exploring and enjoy a meal together. Through into the living area where you can kick back on the large corner sofa, and turn on the 55” Smart TV, whilst relaxing in front of the log burner. The double-height glass and patio doors offer wonderful views and access to the garden and the countryside beyond. The newly fitted kitchen with quartz worktop is found next to the dining area and is fully equipped for preparing that delicious family meal, complete with breakfast bar and two stools . Through the hallway you will find the utility room, perfect for drying the dogs after a long walk. On the right-hand side are two spacious king-size rooms with patio doors opening out to the garden as well as a room with an adult full-size single bunk bed. On the left is the newly fitted family bathroom and the master king-size room with an en-suite with a walk-in shower enclosure and shower. At the end of the hall is a relaxing sunroom with cosy sofas and a further 42” Smart TV, offering an additional place to sit and relax whilst enjoying the wonderful views over the garden and countryside beyond, and offering access to the large enclosed garden.
 
The rear garden is a large, enclosed space. Perfect for letting the dogs roam around. There is a spacious covered dining area, perfect for alfresco drinks as well as a large hot tub that is covered by a gazebo, so you can enjoy a soak in the tub come rain or shine! Off road parking for up to four cars available.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A great house for a family holiday. Fab covered hot tub so we could even go in when it was raining. Lots of comfy seating. 30 minutes drive from lots of family friendly days out.

Amazing stay. Perfect property for a girlie getaway, in a beautiful location. Penny and her husband were great and welcomed. Hot tub was a lovely addition. Very decent price. Cant fault it.

This is a superb property for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The decor is fabulous with no expense spared . Everything you need is provided for perfect self catering. We spent lots of time in the cosy and warm conservatory with underfloor heating. The hot tub is the icing on the cake and towelling robes and slippers for all 8 of us a bonus too. The Read morelocation is lovely looking out onto the garden and countryside. The welcome pack and Prosecco was a thoughtful touch by the wonderful hosts. Thank you Hide

Ideal situation for York and surrounding area. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Hot tub an added bonus.
