This modern flat in Ilkley is a brilliant base for families and couples who are in search of adventure in West Yorkshire. With charming features such as a wood burner and a beautiful patio garden, it’s got something to please at all times of the year. Less than a mile from your doorstep you’ll find Ilkley Moor where a wide range of rare birdlife can be enjoyed alongside panoramic views across the countryside.

At the heart of the home is the open-plan living space which has lovely warm lighting and soft furnishings to ensure you feel at home from the moment you step inside. Two comfortable leather sofas offer a place for you to sprawl out in front of the wood burner to watch the TV, and the compact dining table seats four at mealtimes. The kitchen has been finished to a high standard to get your creative juices flowing when you cook a meal. At bedtime, take your pick from the two bedrooms, one of which has a small double bed and the other which has a single bed with an additional single pull-out bed. These rooms share the Jack and Jill-style shower room. The garden area features a patio table and chairs as well as a BBQ so that you can make the most of any good weather and soak up the tranquillity of the area.

Avid walkers could join the Dales Way walk, which starts at Ilkley and runs for 80 miles to Bowness on Windermere through varied terrains where you’ll see a wide range of interesting flora, fauna and wildlife. Further afield, the spa town of Harrogate is a lovely place to have a day out, boasting a selection of tearooms and shops, as well as RHS Garden Harlow Carr which is a sight to behold at all times of the year.

A great stay in a flat excellently placed for exploring Ilkley. We took a couple of trains whilst there; the walk to the station is only about 8 minutes. Behind the flat are steps which go down to the park and river, and in front is a garden with table and chairs which we would have used more often had the weather permitted! There is good storage iRead moren the living area for coats and boots and a washing machine and dryer. For two adults the flat was great. For more it might be a bit tight. Hide

The cottage was lovely, with everything you could need. Location was perfect with park and centre close by. Would recommend this property and would definitely come back.

Great flat. Well equipped very clean. The parking was a bonus as most streets are permit only or pay at a meter. Just over the road from the park, so ideal for walking our dog. Very friendly host.

We enjoyed the flat and our visit immensely. Clean, well equipped, quiet. Excellent location within 2 minute walk to the town and the lovely river park. Our host was excellent, friendly and accommodating.

The Garden Flat is beautifully convenient for Ilkley town centre and the delightful Riverside area, splendid for both humans and dogs ! The flat itself was very clean and comfortable with a charming sitting-out area, sunny morning and afternoon. We will definitely hope to stay there again.

Lovely little flat, ideally placed to explore the local area. Within walking distance of the town and a stones throw from the beautiful riverside park and walks. Quiet, modern and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

Stone steps down to the flat were very slippy, need a good jet wash along with the area at the bottom of the steps, couldn't use hand rail as covered in bird poo. The kitchen in the flat was dirty, had to wash cutlery and plates etc before we could use, that was after we had been & bought washing up liquid & a dishcloth, The oven was filthy as wereRead more the oven trays. Bed very uncomfortable, linen stained and covered in black fluff. Noise from the owners walking about above. Left a night early. Hide
