Set within a picturesque village just a stones' throw from the Yorkshire Dales, this charming bungalow is just perfect for explorers whatever the time of year.

Make yourself at home at this cheerful, single-storey cottage in the heart of the pretty village of Bradley. Sleeping four people across two charming bedrooms, this is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends looking for a stylish home-away-from-home while they explore North Yorkshire together. Spend fun days discovering the bustling market town of Skipton, and in the evening, come home to fire-up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco on the cottage’s pretty terrace.

Step inside and you’ll find a convenient utility room - the perfect place to shed your outdoor gear after a day of adventure. Continue into the spacious open-plan kitchen/dining area, and take one step up to find the inviting lounge, which has a cosy, informal vibe. When it’s time to eat, head back to the farmhouse-style kitchen area to whip up some dinner. Gather everyone to eat at the traditional dining table, or head out onto the terrace, fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco. After dinner, light up the fire pit and spend a little time star-gazing, or make your way back to the lounge to enjoy a glass of wine while you warm your toes by the electric wood burner-effect fire. At the end of the day, two stylish bedrooms await - one generous king-size that boasts a stylish wood panel ceiling, and one bunk room suitable for adults. To complete the layout, you’ll find a minimalist-style family shower room.

Spend a day at the awe-inspiring limestone cliffs of Malham Cove (14 miles). Hike to the top for panoramic views of the Yorkshire Dales. Alternatively, grab your fishing gear and head to Kilnsey Park Estate (15 miles). Visit the wildlife park to encounter birds of prey and red squirrels, or try your hand at fly fishing at Kilnsey Trout Farm.

Was comfy and cozy when we returned after our day trips. Perfectly located in a very quiet cul-de-sac with lovely walks along the canal. Hope to return in the future.

Good location, with easy access to bus routes and canal path. Cottage needs a bit of an uplift (i.e.Bathroom) and double bed has a serious slope on the window side.

A really well and thoughtfully equipped modern bungalow (ideal for the elderly) but strangely with a step between kitchen and diner. Soft mattress on a king size bed with a lovely outlook. Small courtyard with a bush that needs trimming over the gate and 2nd bedroom dark because of overgrown bushes. June is a bad month for this. Bathroom small and Read moreneeds attention (I've told owner). Prefer separate wc but okay. Hide

A lovely cottage with a wonderful view. Cosy and equipped very well, in fact I would go as far as saying it was the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. Had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we were visiting Yorkshire.

Cherry Tree Cottage is a relaxing home from home. The property was clean , warm and welcoming. The owner was contactable if any questions arose. Cherry Tree Cottage is extremely well equipped for a self catering holiday. The host was welcoming and freely available if needed. The cottage garden was a lovely space to relax and watch the birds. The location is excellent for walks along the canal and the village has some interesting historic buildings .

The property was ok, I think a better discrption of location would be advisable as to being located on a housing estate. We did enjoy our time in and around the area and it's a good base for visiting places, but unfortunately the property wasn't my cup of tea.

My husband and I and the 2 dogs had a great stay in this warm, cosy and comfortable cottage. The owner had provided and equipped the cottage to the finest detail and was very attentive, kind and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. We loved feeding the hedgehogs each day and freshening the water for them. A huge thank you.
