Set in the pretty Yorkshire village of Upper Poppleton, Model Farm sits on the village green opposite the maypole and close to amenities such as a mini-supermarket and a couple of traditional dog friendly pubs. This property is situated close to York, yet with easy access to the countryside and the Yorkshire Coast. As there is secure gated parking, many guests leave their car at the property and use the village bus or train station to travel around the area. York is famous for its iconic Minster, the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre. Alternatively, the market town of Knaresborough or the elegant town of Harrogate are within 20 miles by car or a short train ride. Knaresborough, home to Mother Shipton's Cave, also hosts a weekly market and Harrogate boasts an historic spa where you can spend a day indulging in some relaxation, or you can browse the shops or indulge in an afternoon tea at Betty's tearooms.
The Stable is decorated with an eclectic mix of furnishings and original features, including beams. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment and a full-size dishwasher. The lounge is homely with a Smart TV and a comprehensive Sky package with movies and sports. There are two large bedrooms with original beams – one has a double bed and the other has two single zip-and-link beds (that can be made up as a super-king-size on request). The bathroom has a large shower enclosure.
Externally, there is a small terrace with garden furniture and off road parking.
