This delightful property benefits from an excellent location on a quiet and peaceful street at the heart of the village. Nestled at the foot of Great Whernside, Kettlewell is an idyllic village boasting two pubs and a tearoom. Take a stroll along the river or follow the Dales Way to a number of charming villages through a wealth of breathtaking countryside. Kettlewell is in Upper Wharfedale, much of which is National Trust-owned, and you can delight in the dry-stone walls and dramatic landscape. Welcoming novice and experienced walkers alike, it truly is the perfect location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

On entering the property, which is furnished in an 'upside-down' layout to make the most of the countryside views, a staircase will take you up to the living space. A beautiful lounge/diner welcomes you with a feature stone fireplace with a delightful multi-fuel stove (first basket of logs provided). Cosy up on the sofas, watch the Smart TV, or sit around the dining table and enjoy a glass of wine or game of cards in the evening. The kitchen has been carefully designed to include everything you could need, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. On the ground floor, you will find a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, the perfect place to leave coats and muddy boots after a day exploring The Dales. There are two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, and a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.

Stepping outside, the cottage benefits from a beautiful enclosed rear garden with a lawn. There is a patio area with seating and a charcoal BBQ so that you can enjoy dining alfresco surrounded by splendid countryside. There is off-road parking for two cars and secure bicycle storage on request.

We found the location of the cottage perfect! It was beautifully quiet apart from the sound of sheep and birds yet only 3 minutes walk from the 3 hostelries and other village amenities. The cottage was nicely decorated and very comfortable with good furnishings and equipment. It has a postage stamp size garden but nicely cared for and big enough toRead more be able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Nice touch of milk, eggs and some goodies left, most welcome. We definitely recommend a visit! Hide
