There are fabulous walks to explore in and around the town, or you’ll find waymarked trails in nearby Dalby Forest (13 miles). For a day at the seaside, Scarborough is just 18 miles away.

The ground floor of the cottage has a sociable, open-plan layout, with each area flowing into the next. Enter the property into the cosy lounge/diner, where comfortable sofas are arranged around a TV and wood burner, and there’s a sweet dining table for enjoying mealtimes together. From here, move through to the spacious kitchen, which is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. To the rear of the cottage is a refreshing bathroom and a handy utility room.
