Situated in Robin Hood's Bay exclusive and beautiful cobbled street, this pet-friendly cottage is just metres from the beach, offering flexible accommodation for four to six people.

Robin Hood’s Bay is a true gem of the Yorkshire coastline. Brooding cliffs tower over a village of quaint charming cottages. This picturesque destination is perfect for a cosy getaway where you can embrace the village’s unusual architecture and uncover the fascinating smugglers’ secrets. Stroll down the street to the pub for some traditional fish and chips or to the well-stocked shop that sells groceries, deli, fresh bread, dairy, newspapers, postcards, wine, beer and chocolates. The surrounding area of Robin Hood’s Bay offers a multitude of beauty spots to explore. Head inland to the beautiful Sneaton Forest and its famous Falling Foss Waterfall or, if you are feeling particularly adventurous, check the tide timetable and take on the 3-mile walk along the beach to Ravenscar.

The cottage is approached up a little passage just off the main street. Take the low stone steps to the entrance and step inside the welcoming vestibule, a handy place to leave behind your boots and coats. The lounge invites you in with its cosy interior and comfortable sofas. Here you will find the flatscreen TV with Freeview and a selection of DVDs should you want to stay in and watch a film. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need to make a home-cooked meal including an electric oven and hob, and a fridge. The staircase can be found behind a door (please note, the stairs are narrow). Head up to the first floor where you will find a lovely bedroom with a comfortable super-king-size bed (can be made into a twin on request) with a feature fireplace and space to unpack your things. Start your mornings in the shower room next door with a large walk-in shower and a WC. The second bedroom is up the next staircase and features a double bed and a TV. Outside, across the passage path, is a separate annexe – excellent if you want to extend your group up to six guests. The annexe is self-contained with a mini kitchen including a fridge and microwave, and its own private en-suite shower room with WC.

There is no private parking, but you can purchase a long-stay permit from Scarborough Council.

Lovely little cottage, took 2 mins to walk to the beach, we were lucky with the weather but the cottage would be gorgeous in the depths of winter too I think.

Property very well equipped. Everything provided and really good welcome pack. Great comfy beds and good quality sheets. Annex handy as overflow. Ideally situated with the Cove cafe opposite with seating overlooking sea.

We had a fabulous week in Brigholme. Due to the very compact size of the 'kitchen', we felt that it was more of an apartment than a cottage, suitable for an absolute maximum of five people, with four in the main building and one in the annex across the alley. The annex is advertised for two people but the sofa bed is only big enough for one person,Read more so please be aware of this if you're needing the use of 3 double beds. The owner was contactable and helpful when questions needed answering. Hide

Fabulous location. Very clean cottage. Smaller than we were expecting, but a positive was having a king size bed.
