The three-storey, red-roofed cottage is reached via a flight of stairs to the front door. Inside, the decor is classic and timeless, with elegant furniture, neutral soft furnishings, and tasteful, coastal-themed accessories. The lower ground floor is home to a farmhouse-style kitchen with an adjoining breakfast room for informal gatherings. A chic shower room and a handy utility room (with space to store beach gear) complete this level. Heading upstairs, you’ll find a gorgeous formal dining room with an antique-style dining table set under a sparkling chandelier – the perfect setting for celebrating special occasions with family and friends. After dinner, retire to the stunning lounge, which is decorated in a subtle seaside theme and enjoys relaxing views along the coast. Spend time here, catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Upstairs, three exquisite bedrooms await, all with beamed ceilings and touches, such as the four-poster bed in one of the king-size rooms. A magnificent family bathroom with Italian marble tiles completes this unforgettable holiday home. To the front of the property is a raised, decked area with outdoor furniture where you can dine alfresco and listen to the sounds of the seaside. There is also a small terrace to the rear of the cottage.
Sandsend is a small fishing village with a handful of cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. The resort is considerably quieter than its bustling neighbour of Whitby, and it’s easy to find your own, peaceful spot on the sandy beach for sunbathing, rock pooling, or swimming in the shallow waters. The long-distance Cleveland Way passes through the village and you can follow it for 2.5 miles to Whitby, to dine in the seafood restaurants, explore the iconic abbey ruins, or board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
