Whilst you’re welcome to off-road it, there are several well-established, waymarked pathways nearby for trekking the local area efficiently. This 80-mile route stretches across Cumbria and Yorkshire, encompassing the beauty spots of Gearstones (16 miles) to the south and Sedburgh (7.5 miles) to the north. Another local beauty spot is the Ribblehead Viaduct (15 miles), a feat of engineering worth factoring into your walking or biking route, not too far from the vibrant town of Ingleton (9 miles).
