The former fishing village of Filey is alive with everything you’d expect to find in a quintessentially seaside paradise, from a historic promenade lined with colourful beach huts to a 5-mile sandy bay. Build sandcastles before paddling the crystal waters of the gloriously golden Filey Beach (just under a mile away) or head to Filey Brigg (1.5 miles) to uncover amazing rock pools or join the Cleveland Way Walk. From coast to countryside, keen walkers can uncover scenic country walks carving through the landscape of the North York Moors National Park, 24 miles, whilst thrill seekers can enjoy the Go Ape high ropes centre in Dalby Forest, 23.5 miles away.

Comfortable property in a great location, close to amenities and beach. Good layout downstairs. Lovely large double, smaller double and bunk bedroom both very small and lacking storage. Efficient heating. Adequate back paved garden for dogs , as also park across the road . Very good children's areas in the park. Parking for one family car, but not Read morea longer vehicle. Nice property in a great location right next to the front and five minutes from the town centre. Only minor niggle was the state of the cookware which was poor quality and in a terrible condition.

A comfortable, well equipped property located close to Glen Gardens and the beach. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops within five/ten minutes walk. A peaceful spot although the seagulls reminded us at times we were at the coast! My family and I all enjoyed our stay. The SMART TV was much appreciated after our busy days out. Absolutely unbeatable location, right by Glen Gardens Park, a short walk to the dog friendly beach, two minutes walk into town and all the amenities. The home is fully equipped and the milk, biscuits and bread were a welcome bonus on arrival, yes the parking is tight but I had no problems parking my Skoda Estate, just a word of warning though the sRead moreeagulls will cover your car but that's the pri e you pay for being so close to the sea ! Lovely position in the town. The house had everything we needed, was clean and it looked newly redecorated. The parking space at the back is small and awkward to get in and out, so we parked out front, there was always room.
