Great cottage, everything you could need and owner pleasant. Unfortunately we had to leave early owing to my ill health. Also the pub recommended for a meal was fabulous. As walkers it would have been nice if there had been some footpaths nearby

Our stay was lovely a bit out of the way for shopping etc but nevertheless a nice quiet location ideal for nature walks cycle rides. York is a short drive for park and ride other locations like Beverley, Driffield and Malton under the hour, although if you have a satnav some destinations a satnav may take a slightly longer route but use the AA roadRead more map in the cottage to figure out shorter route. A great little cottage in a quiet rural location. Stamford Bridge is close by for shops and restaurants. A very small property with very little space to move around. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the towels were of poor quality. Very little storage space for personal items - only a wardrobe. On the plus side, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was clean. The property is in a good position to access York, the moors and the east coRead moreast. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at Dairy cottage. Our host was very attentive and kind and left milk in the fridge for us, plus a box of chocolates, a bottle of red wine and some cookies which was a nice little touch. It was quiet, which we liked and only 1.5 miles to the Coop in Stamford Bridge. The Gold Cup pub in Low Catton was nice as well. We had a nice tRead moreime. Hide

A lovely cottage for myself and my wife. Very well appointed with everything you could possibly want in a self catering holiday. The supplied disposable bbq's were a great added touch. A simple 20 minute drive into the centre of York, where we spent most of our days during our stay. Highly recommended cottage for 2.
