Tucked away within the tranquil village of Snainton are a pair of attractive, stone and pantile cottages, lying within a courtyard setting in this charming, country village of Snainton which sits at the foot of the North York Moors and is an ideal location from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Yorkshire coastline. Snainton boasts two pubs serving food, and an excellent children’s playground. The seaside resort of Scarborough is just 10 miles away and is a traditional resort with two large beaches. Situated just 3 miles from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, where there are fantastic walks and trails that lead up to the Dalby Forest, with its good walking, mountain biking and Go Ape for the more adventurous! Enjoy a meander around Pickering, where railway-enthusiasts will enjoy the famous North Yorkshire Steam Railway. A delightful cosy barn with a tasteful blend of rustic touches from the brick-laid floor and neutral decor.
Step into the entrance hall (please be aware of low lintel), take off your coat and shoes and head into the warm and inviting barn. The contemporary kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Meander through to the lounge and sink into the comfortable sofas for the evening and pick a film to watch on the Smart TV. At mealtimes, come together around the table and discuss your adventures, you can also open the living room door and allow the breeze to flow inside. When it's time to turn in, pass the separate ground floor WC and make your way up the stairs. There are two bedrooms; the first is a king-size bedroom with a large window and plenty of space for storing your belongings. The second bedroom is a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into 2ft 6inch twins on request). Completing the upstairs is a shower room.
The barn has a sweet enclosed patio area which is a superb sun trap, surrounded by well-kept raised flower beds. Enjoy your morning brew on the patio furniture or dine alfresco with your loved ones. There is on-road parking on the street directly outside and access to under cover bike storage with locks available.
