Located at the edge of the Peak District and within easy reach of all its major attractions, this sympathetically refurbished cottage is the self-contained guest wing of a 16th century listed manor house overlooking the beautiful Rivelin Valley. Despite its rural setting, local shops and pubs are within walking distance. Peak District highlights are easily accessible, and there is plenty of walking country on the doorstep. If you love a good walk, Rivelin Valley Heritage Nature Trail really has it all with woodlands, playgrounds, paddling pools and a cafe just half a mile away. Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and Ladybower reservoir (trout fishing available in season) are all within a 7-mile drive.

This idyllic cottage is approached via a cobbled stone courtyard. Step inside to a warm and welcoming kitchen/diner providing a traditional cottage kitchen with stone floors. You will find all you need including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, connecting to a useful utility room with washing machine and bread maker, there is also a separate WC. The cosy lounge is just the perfect spot to wind down after a long day of exploring, it comes complete with exposed beams and a stone inglenook fireplace featuring a wood burner. Curl up on the sofa or comfy armchairs to watch a movie on the TV or just have a good old catch up by the fire. A selection of games and books offers traditional entertainment. Head up the stone stairs via the kitchen to the first floor which is level to the garden, being built on a hill. Here you can access the garden from a door off the landing. There are three bedrooms all with rustic charm; the first is a beautiful master king-size bedroom with exposed beams and an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom is the twin zip-and-link (which can be a super-king-size on request) and the third is a double bedroom. Completing this floor is the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Step outside to find a wonderful walled garden with patio and gravelled area with sun loungers where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst soaking up the enchanting countryside views. Enjoy your feast alfresco from the table and chairs admiring the vistas in your private setting. There is off-road parking for two cars behind electric gates.
