The stylish converted chapel makes a wonderful place to stay, with five en-suite bedrooms (two on the ground floor), an open-plan living space, and an enclosed terrace with a hot tub. It’s close to Yorkshire’s coastal towns, beaches, and attractions, the Yorkshire Moors, and the Wolds.
The unique property has been thoughtfully designed to retain lots of its original charm and character along with contemporary comforts. Step inside the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where there are reclining sofas, a Smart TV, and a wood burner. The contemporary kitchen is equipped for a large group and has lots of extras, including a slow cooker, an air fryer, a toastie maker, and a coffee machine. Sit together at the large breakfast bar or the dining table and chairs, and spend evenings in the second lounge where there’s a Smart TV and air hockey game. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and the other three bedrooms are on the first floor. All five bedrooms have en-suites: four shower rooms (one is a wet room) and one bathroom, and there’s also a separate WC. One bedroom has an additional single bed. Heading outside, you’ll find a rear patio with a hot tub, seating, and sun loungers, plus there’s a balcony off the entertaining space on the first floor.
Visit Yorkshire’s coastal towns and beaches at Scarborough (14 miles), Filey (6.5 miles) and Bridlington (7 miles). Walk along the scenic Wolds Way, which runs from Hessle to Filey, and explore the rugged Yorkshire Moors (12 miles). Go for a ride on the Yorkshire Wolds Railway (15.5 miles) and have fun exploring Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens (7 miles).
