Enjoy a wonderful stay with friends or family at this quirky property in the small village of Burton Fleming. The stylish converted chapel makes a wonderful place to stay, with five en-suite bedrooms (two on the ground floor), an open-plan living space, and an enclosed terrace with a hot tub. It’s close to Yorkshire’s coastal towns, beaches, and attractions, the Yorkshire Moors, and the Wolds.

The unique property has been thoughtfully designed to retain lots of its original charm and character along with contemporary comforts. Step inside the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where there are reclining sofas, a Smart TV, and a wood burner. The contemporary kitchen is equipped for a large group and has lots of extras, including a slow cooker, an air fryer, a toastie maker, and a coffee machine. Sit together at the large breakfast bar or the dining table and chairs, and spend evenings in the second lounge where there’s a Smart TV and air hockey game. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and the other three bedrooms are on the first floor. All five bedrooms have en-suites: four shower rooms (one is a wet room) and one bathroom, and there’s also a separate WC. One bedroom has an additional single bed. Heading outside, you’ll find a rear patio with a hot tub, seating, and sun loungers, plus there’s a balcony off the entertaining space on the first floor.

Visit Yorkshire’s coastal towns and beaches at Scarborough (14 miles), Filey (6.5 miles) and Bridlington (7 miles). Walk along the scenic Wolds Way, which runs from Hessle to Filey, and explore the rugged Yorkshire Moors (12 miles). Go for a ride on the Yorkshire Wolds Railway (15.5 miles) and have fun exploring Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens (7 miles).

We were a family group of 10 age range 3 - 65. We had a fabulous time and the house was spacious and very comfortable. The only negative was the dining table did not seat all of us and we do enjoy all eating together. It did not spoil our visit as we improvised!

Superb accommodation for a large group. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Really appreciated the layout of communal areas, particularly keeping dogs to the ground floor. The property was the perfect base for a three generation holiday.

This is a fantastic property with everything youd need for a great short break or longer holiday. The coast is a short drive away offering great walks or beach activities. This is an amazing property and was perfect for our use as a sewing retreat. A large open plan kitchen with so many cupboards, and a magnificent breakfast bar were the highlights; but the luxury of an en-suite shower/bath room with each of the five bedrooms made it the perfect location for us. This is a beautiful property but Unable to access the property until 5 pm and the cleaners were still finishing off as we arrived Ongoing plumbing issues evident from the visitors book . The upstairs toilet was blocked on our arrival with faeces and in general the plumbing upstairs doesnt appear to cope with solid waste Kitchen stools dusty and somRead moree TLC needed overall . Three generational family to celebrate a 70th birthday was enjoyed by all. Air hockey machine very much appreciated and although the weather was not great, the size of the property enabled everyone to find their own space when required. All in all, recommended.
